Blob the Klex is a lovingly put together 3D platformer featuring Klex the cat, a procedurally animated feline hero. It is the first game and student project turned passion project of Studio#4. The debut prototype of the student team might be new and fresh but it already won an award: Best Prototype 2025 at DCP Deutscher Computerspielpreis. Who else can’t wait to find out how the complete adventure of Klex will come together?

The mechanics: Embrace versatility and turn into an even blobbier Klex
Klex can run, jump, cling to objects, balance over narrow items, and much more. As you progress through the locations of Katzburg, Klex will acquire move sophisticated movement abilities that will enable him to perform even trickier stunts and solve wilder puzzles. The abilities all revolve around Klex changing its physical shape, e.g. turning into a ball, and therefore unlocking corresponding new and wild movement behavior.
